  My first time visiting Jordan House Tavern and I found the prices very fair and atmosphere was nice. Overall I'd give them 3.5 stars but Google doesn't provide that option.

  Seating however didn't go as well. Nobody acknowledged us for about two minutes and when we were finally seated we were placed at a dirty table. The lady who seated us didn't realize the table was dirty which is an understandable mistake but she cleaned the table behind us and could have checked ours when she walked past. I also felt it could've been cleaned a bit better but we were already sitting and probably got in her way a bit.

  I ordered the fish and chips for dinner and it was pretty good. The fries were amazing and the fish was good but it was left in the fryer a bit too long resulting in a dark brown batter that was hard. Service from the waitress who who took our orders and served the food/drinks was very good.

  Food is mediocre and service is always unreasonably slow, even when there isn't a crowd. They often forget small add-ons (eg. If you order spicy mayo with your fries). If you have a dietary restriction they will simply take all of those aspects out of the meal, but will not think to add more food to compensate for the loss. I ordered fish tacos but could not have the sauce or the coleslaw which normally top it. I asked them to add something else to the taco instead to fill it. However, all I got was the taco shell, the fish, and the small amount of salsa which comes standard on the tacos. Very disappointing. They could have simply added shredded lettuce and mayo and it would have been fine.

  Attending a work dinner here. We had the private room upstairs and it was great. The staff were super accommodating with guests coming and going throughout the evening.

  Jordan house is a great spot to drop in for a pint and some local entertainment. Sevice is decent and menus choices for a pub are really good. I would recommend if you are in the area. I enjoyed their house burger as well as the chicken wings.
